This can vary greatly depending on the character's purpose and how precise the initial vision is. One of the most challenging aspects of AI character creation is ensuring consistency across numerous images and/or videos. Furthermore, depending on the character's intended actions, the creation process becomes more complex, often requiring the creation of a custom product prop. For example, if the character is to use specific makeup, the makeup itself (the product in its bottle, complete with label, logo, etc.) must be created as a custom prop. Additionally, it must be ensured that the character, after applying the product, accurately reflects the correct color of the product.Generally, projects proceed as follows:Character Design & Training Phase (One-time, includes research, creation of basic references, training of the AI model (LoRA), fine-tuning based on customer feedback.)Phase 20 AI images (character + product; the integration of a specific product (product placement) is more complex than pure character images, as the product must look physically correct.)Phase AI videos (10 seconds each; AI video is currently the "gold standard". Maintaining consistency over 10 seconds may require a lot of post-production.)The following are also factored in:Correction loops (e.g. 2 per phase)Usage rights (licensing) --> Depending on the order:An existing character or one created by us can be used, but this character is not exclusively "reserved" for the client; other clients can also use it.A character is created and trained according to the customer's specifications; in this case, the image rights belong to the client and the character is exclusively available to them. The share of software costs (AI models that can produce very good quality in high resolution (1080p or 4K, sometimes even 8K) and consistent characters) can cost several hundred francs per month, but their use is usually limited to a quota (so-called tokens).Further information:We are currently (still) not subject to VAT, which is indicated on the invoice as "VAT exempt according to Art. 10 VAT Act".Commercial register entry with UID
This depends heavily on the requirements, our current workload, our availability, the completeness of the character definition, and the number of revisions. It's best if you download the PDF (link) to consider the basic information for your character. Afterward, you can either send a character creation request (link) or simply contact us via the contact form . The details can be discussed further in a personal meeting (Bern region), a Teams call, or by phone.
No. A basic idea of the character (an older, respectable gentleman or a dancing piston coffee machine) is very helpful. An overly detailed image or a persona (only AI personas) that is to be copied 1:1 is considerably more time-consuming.Much more important is that you know what it is going to be used for.
AI characters have several advantages, such as:For a "photoshoot" you don't need a real model, a location, a photographer, post-processing, or expenses for travel, food, or accommodation. They are ready for use 24/7.They never get tired and can, if desired, create and post new content (automatically) 24/7.
This varies greatly depending on the requirements. New tools, platforms, and models are launched almost daily. This list would likely be outdated within a few weeks, which is why I've omitted it.Generally speaking, an AI avatar (the "person") and its corresponding images and/or videos can almost never be created using a single platform or model. Depending on the type of character, whether it should be photorealistic, cartoonish, etc., or which languages the avatar should speak, different models are more or less suitable. There are also significant differences in the models, for example, whether they can handle their own "custom props", i.e., self-defined objects, and reproduce them realistically, or whether a model is suitable for allowing several characters to appear and interact with each other in the same video. It is therefore important to define at the beginning what is intended with the character, so that the right models can be chosen to ensure the consistency of the character.
